ABOUT PEPLINE / CANADIAN BASED & OPERATED

A Canadian company.
A clearer standard.

Research peptides from a company based and operated in Canada. A clear product, a traceable record and a useful answer when you need one — that is the standard we are building Pepline around.

Pepline connects the material you order with the information you need to assess it. The compound, labelled amount, batch record and route to support should stay clear before a purchase and after it.

Our responsibility is the supplier relationship: product information, sourcing, documentation and customer enquiries. Independent laboratories perform the analysis. The original certificate should identify who tested the sample, what they measured and how.

OUR PROPOSED RELEASE PROCESS

From a sample
to a release decision.

Testing is one part of the process. Connecting the sample, certificate and batch is what makes the evidence useful.

  1. 01 / PEPLINE

    Submit the sample

A sample goes to an independent laboratory with the identifiers needed to connect it to the batch.

  2. 02 / LABORATORY

    Run the analysis

The laboratory performs the selected tests and records its methods and findings on the original certificate.

  3. 03 / PEPLINE

    Review the findings

Check the sample identifiers, measurements and report scope against the batch’s release requirements.

  4. 04 / BATCH RECORD

    Keep the record

Connect the certificate to its batch and release status. Retain the history if that status later changes.

Our release standard: a batch that does not meet its requirements is withheld. The laboratory’s findings remain part of the record.

02 / UNDERSTAND THE TESTING

Three measurements.
Three different answers.

A product name, a percentage and a milligram amount each tell you something different. Here is how to read them together.

01 / IDENTITYCompound match
Identity: comparing expected and detected signalsConceptual mass-spectrum comparison. Signals from a reference and a sample align at several positions. This illustration contains no measured Pepline data. EXPECTED SIGNALSSAMPLE SIGNALSMass / charge
Conceptual comparison · no test data

Which compound
was detected?

Mass spectrometry can compare detected molecular signals with those expected for a named peptide. The report should state the method and its identity finding.

What to check on the COA

Read: the compound name, sample identifier, analytical method and reported identity result. LC-MS or LC-MS/MS may be used; rely on the method actually listed.

Keep separate: an identity finding does not establish the amount of peptide or replace other quality tests.

02 / PURITYReported %
Purity: a chromatogram separates measured signalsIllustrative chromatogram showing a larger target peak and two smaller other peaks over retention time. Integrated areas, rather than peak height alone, are used in area-based purity reporting. No batch result is shown. CHROMATOGRAPHIC SIGNALRetention time Target peakOther signal
Illustrative chromatogram · no test data

What does the
percentage measure?

Chromatographic purity describes the target’s share of the integrated signal under the stated method. It is a different measurement from the milligrams in a vial.

What to check on the COA

Read: the purity result, analytical method and acceptance specification. Peak area, not peak height alone, is used for area-based calculations.

Keep separate: a high purity result does not establish sterility or substitute for endotoxin, microbial or heavy-metal testing.

03 / QUANTITYContent in mg
Quantity: compare the labelled amount and measured peptide contentTwo separate fields show milligrams stated on the label and milligrams measured in the report. Fill accuracy equals measured peptide content divided by the labelled amount, multiplied by one hundred. No measured value is illustrated. TWO AMOUNTS TO COMPARE VIAL LABELmgAmount stated LAB REPORTmgPeptide measured Measured ÷ labelled × 100Fill accuracy (%)
How to compare amounts · no test data

How much peptide
was measured?

The labelled amount and measured peptide content are separate fields. Compare the laboratory result in milligrams with the amount stated on the vial.

What to check on the COA

Read: measured peptide content, its units, method and specification. Fill accuracy compares that result with the labelled amount.

Keep separate: total powder weight can include other material. Neither powder weight nor a purity percentage replaces a peptide-content measurement.

A result only covers the work that was performed.

Check separately for identity, purity, quantity and any additional analyses. Sterility, endotoxin, microbial and heavy-metal tests have their own methods and results. Missing tests remain not reported. The diagrams above explain the concepts; the original certificate supplies the evidence.

Connect the report
to your vial.

Start with the LOT field on the label. Follow it to the batch record and then to the original certificate.

THE CONNECTION TO CHECK
01 / VIALLot number
02 / RECORDSame lot
03 / CERTIFICATELot or sample ID

If the laboratory uses a different sample ID, the batch record needs a documented link. Ask Pepline if the connection is unclear.

03 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Before your first order.
And after it arrives.

Practical answers about the material, the reports, payment and delivery. Search across every topic or choose one below.

8 answers · Ordering & payment

How do I pay for an order?

Checkout uses Interac e-Transfer. Place your order, then use the recipient, exact amount and order reference shown on the order page. The order remains awaiting payment until the transfer is received and matched. Prices and totals are in Canadian dollars.

Payment details
Can I order without creating an account?

Yes. Guest checkout is available. Keep your order reference and the email address used at checkout to find your order again. An account gives you a place for orders, addresses, saved reports and rewards.

Are prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes, every figure is in Canadian dollars. Your order summary separates the products, any saving and the delivery charge before you place the order, and no tax is charged or shown.

Payment details
How do quantity savings work?

The current checkout applies 5% savings at five vials of the same product and 10% at ten. The product page shows the price per vial and the total for your selected quantity. Check the order summary for the savings applied to your order.

I sent my e-Transfer. Why is payment still pending?

A sent transfer still needs to be received and matched to your order. Check the order status before sending another payment. If it remains pending, contact support with both your order reference and transfer reference so the payment can be checked.

Track your order
What happens when a product is out of stock?

Unavailable items cannot be added to the cart. The product page lets you request a restock notification. If availability changes during checkout, review the cart and updated total before placing an order.

How long do I have to send payment?

Your order page shows the exact deadline for that order, and it is the one to go by. If you have already sent a transfer and the order has expired, get in touch with the order and transfer references before sending anything again.

Payment details
Why did my checkout total change?

A price, availability, delivery option or reward can change before submission. Checkout explains the change and asks you to review the updated order. No order is placed until you confirm the current details and total. Your contact and delivery entries remain in place.
